Pampers’ iPad Pregnancy Calender
Pampers’ first iPad app let’s you track the growth of your nascent child.
Now TechGeeks how becoming a father can track the development of their unborn child with the new free iPad app “Hello Baby”. The app, which is essentially a baby calender, also let’s mothers track the weekly progress of the baby from week one to 40 and shows the expected due date. You can also hold your iPad in front of the mothers belly, which shows a typical representation of the baby.
While I’m not an expecting Dad (yet), this app definately suits my media addiction.
As brandweek states: P&G, which spent $53 million advertising Pampers last year, without online, per Nielsen, said Hello Baby’s investment is small, but it’s looking to take findings from this “experiment” and leverage it online, Kraus said. The move is also part of parent company Procter & Gamble’s push to position its brands at the forefront of new and emerging technologies, especially as the packaged-goods titan shuffles more marketing dollars into digital, mobile and social media.
