Vienna Is The Most Attractive City To Live In [Ranking]

Living in Vienna is great. Living in Baghdad not so much. Mercers Top 50 worldwide cities.

Every year Mercer analyzes the quality of living in several global cities.  Vienna (Austria) , Zurich (Switzerland) and Geneva (Switzerland) take the top three. European countries dominate, after the US had to take some losses after the financial crisis. If you’re not too big a German speaker (7 out of the top 10 cities speak German) you might want to consider living in Australia or New Zealand. San Francisco is the only US city (on the mainland) to make it into the top 40.

OK this might not have anything to do with “social brand value” but you could check with Facebooks Gross National Happiness Index if there’s a correlation between happiness and quality of living (If you have some spare time).

By the way: Google has their EMEA headquarters in Zurich. They knew why.
